Girl's poetry

One night this week, I asked the girls if they could make up a poem. Bron had two, Audrey, one:

Bronwyn:

"Having fun with my friends"

I like to bicycle with my friends,
Across the street,
On the sidewalk,
Down the hill.
I like to bicycle every day.

"Coloured Animals"

I am a rainbow fish swimming so fast.
I am a spider spinning my web.
I am a caterpillar eating a leaf.
I like animals so much.

Audrey:

The flying underwear bird
Flies around the ceiling and the stairs.
He is the biggest in the world!

I love how Audrey's poems always have to have "flying underwear" in them...

Just like their daddy...those girls are so smart. Loved the poems! I need to start sharing some of Marissa's art on my blog. Love you Tom.

I can't believe I haven't commented yet - but I do love the poetry. I check my blogs in list of favorites at least twice a day and actually read the girls' poetry with a smile on my face...miss you all!
